Ranged (bow, crossbow or dua crossbow) just works, either pure ranger, pure fighter or 3 thief rest ranger/fighter if dual crossbow. I wouldn't pick spore druid though, they make the fights way too long. Oh and a last advice. If you want to have a main character with a backstory from your imagination, don't do dark urge.
